1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy covers fractalcode.dev (the "Site"), the marketing site for fractal code, an independent ecommerce app studio building tools for Salla merchants. In this policy, "we," "our," or "us" refers to fractal code. This policy explains what information the Site collects and how we handle it.

This policy does not cover the products we build. Each app (for example, Hadaya at gethadaya.com) has its own privacy policy governing your use of that product, since apps collect and process store and order data that this marketing site never sees.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

The Site has no sign-up flow, account system, or contact form. The only way to reach us from here is the "Get in touch" link, which opens your own email client addressed to us — anything you send that way goes directly to our inbox and isn't captured or stored by the Site itself.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Standard hosting logs: our host, Vercel, records requests to the Site (IP address, browser/device information, pages visited, and timestamps) as part of normal web server operation.
  • Language preference: a cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) remembers whether you last viewed the Site in English or Arabic.
  • Theme preference: your light/dark mode choice is stored in your browser's local storage (fc-theme). This never leaves your browser — we don't receive or store it.

We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts on the Site. If that changes, we'll update this policy first.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information above only to:

  • Serve the Site and remember your language/theme preferences
  • Maintain the security and reliability of the Site
  • Respond to messages you send us directly

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell any information. Hosting log data is processed by Vercel as our infrastructure provider, subject to their own privacy practices.

5. Data Retention

We don't operate a database behind this Site — there's no account data to retain. Hosting logs are retained only as long as our hosting provider's standard operational window.

6. Your Rights

Since the Site collects no account-level personal data, most data-subject requests won't apply here. If you'd like details on anything above, or want your hosting-log entries addressed, contact us at the email below.

7. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to individuals under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
